Job Summary:

This position is responsible for the entire lifecycle of the recruitment process as well as conducting training in accordance with federal and state requirements and employee development. Under the supervision of the HR Director, this role will partner with management on position definition, candidate requirements, and search strategy.  This position will also partner with Marketing to promote the Concord Group brand through various social media outlets.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a partner, consultant, and advisor to management by developing and driving strategies to recruit talent in a highly competitive market.
  • Identify, source and engage candidates through innovative and creative sourcing approaches.
  • Develop effective and appealing job postings for internet and social media.
  • Drive the sourcing, screening, interviewing, evaluation, and offer negotiation process.
  • Ensure an impressive candidate experience by providing a high quality interview process with thorough communication & timely feedback, as well as interviewer preparedness and effective interview format.
  • Work collaboratively with hiring managers to identify targets and markets to proactively source passive candidates.
  • Proactively build and maintain a robust pipeline of candidates for key positions and continuously growing departments.
  • Identify, source and engage candidates through innovative and creative sourcing approaches.
  • Maintain up-to-date staffing reports, search progress, candidate database and all related staffing communications.
  • Participate in the development and execution of employee development and training programs.
  • Partner with the Leadership Team on employee development, performance, and soft skill training.
  • Develop, initiate and maintain effective programs for workforce retention, promotion and succession planning that correspond with the strategy and objectives of the company.
  • Develop processes to evaluate existing talent and conduct internal talent reviews with the leadership and management teams.
  • Coordinate and continuously develop Corporate Internship Program to ensure students are given meaningful experience.
  • Work with Marketing to be a Brand Ambassador and promote The Concord Group through various social media outlets and recruiting events.
  • Establish relationships with local high schools and colleges and attend career fairs to promote The Concord Group brand.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field; SHRM-CP or SCP preferred.
  • 5 years of demonstrated recruitment experience.
  • Excellent written and communication skills to successfully engage with all levels within an organization.
  • Must be proficient with HR technology including HRIS. Computer efficiency with emphasis on Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Demonstrates sound judgement, discretion and high integrity.
  • Excellent knowledge and the ability to interpret federal and state regulations as it relates to the recruitment process.
  • Superb customer focus, attention to detail, and organization skills.
  • Demonstrated experience analyzing and reporting staffing, candidate, and industry trends and recommending actions.
  • Outstanding organization skills and the ability to handle multiple projects.
  • Familiarity with the mutual insurance company culture is a plus.
