Marketing Representative - New Hampshire

We are seeking a dynamic insurance professional with personal and commercial lines experience to join our team of marketing professionals to help us develop our Massachusetts territory.  Central and South Eastern Massachusetts will be the primary focus of agent assignments. If you have a marketing, sales or underwriting background and knowledge of the Massachusetts personal auto and commercial auto marketplace this is a terrific opportunity to join one of New England’s most consistent and growing insurance companies totally committed to working exclusively with Independent Insurance Agents. 

The selected individual will be responsible for planning, developing and growing our business in New Hampshire.  You will appoint new agents, support existing agents, provide system training and implement tactics to help our agents grow their business.

Job Summary:

Provide sales, marketing and profitability leadership to assigned agents within territory to achieve expected Scorecard results.


  •  Achieve production and profitability goals for assigned agency plant
  •  75% travel to assigned agents and company events in company car
  •  Drive growth and profitability through book management, negotiated acquisition of controlled books of business
     and skilled use of the business planning tool
  •  Responsible for prospecting new agents and achieving new agent appointment goals
  •  Lead and communicate agency business planning process
  •  Oversee agency training support and develop training strategies for new and existing agents/CSR’s to drive
     business objectives
  •  Know key competitor products and value differentiators


  •  Bachelors degree and 3+ years underwriting or field marketing experience preferred
  •  Proven analytical, decision making, problem solving, communication and teamwork skills
  •  High level sales skills and marketing expertise with professional contacts within agencies in the assigned territory
  •  CPCU or CIC designation preferred
  •  Must be fully versed in insurance contracts, state insurance laws, corporate underwriting positions and agency
     management philosophy
  •  Maintain Producer P & C license
  •  Maintain valid and clean driver’s license
